Caves, Stages, Nests, Spongebob?
Well, I finally got my chance to check out a cave. I guess it only makes sense to explore the ones in Pennsylvania first! We hit some heavy construction and road delays and I was fearful that it would be a repeat of the Missouri situation and that we would get there as the last tour entered, but we made it on time. This one was pretty cool; you actually take a boat ride through it. Here are the photos from our day at Penn's Cave.
And as promised: photos from Mo’s graduation (I just discovered that my camera does have zoom—wish I had known that then); the nest as of Mother’s Day and finally: Does Spongebob promote fellatio? I'm sure most of us have heard the speculations as to Spongebob and the rest of the Bikini Bottom crew. These children's items certainly don't help matters (and yes, these are honest to goodness Spongebob products)...
Spongebob Pervert Pants (most of you have seen this in the flesh--for those that haven't, this is the top to a children's drink bottle--my friend bought one for her kid and was so offended that she poured old Bob's liquid into a regular cup and refused to let her daughter drink from Spongebob as manufactured--this was in 2003--I haven't seen one on the market since) and the Spongebob Sucker (a fitting companion to Spongebob Pervert Pants--this one swirls around in your mouth with the push of a button and the insertion of a few batteries). Okay, you have to admit--these do seem kind of strange to offer to young children!

Another Piece of Paradise
Okay, here's that 20 acres that I have been raving about. This is the place I have dreamed of as home since childhood. The only thing missing is the little stone cottage...
Perfect for swimming, fishing, wading, playing, catching crayfish and salamanders, camping, kicking it at the camp-fire, relaxing, hiking, exploring, having spooky ooky campouts, meditating, soul searching, falling in love...
Since I went a bit photo happy--here are the main categories: the view from the road, the forest, the creeks, the stream, the railroad tracks, the inner view, the swimming holes--take your choice or be brave and view all 185 photos! :)
