Beulah Land 2005
Located in Reynoldsville, PA--this secluded little cemetery is literally located at the dead end of a wooded country lane.
Perhaps the most unique aspect of the journey along this back road is the fact that graves and headstones are randomly scattered throughout the woods and along the hillside. This goes on throughout the several mile journey to the actual cemetery.
These photos were taken in late August while the woods were still lush and full. A future trip is planned in mid-autumn (perhaps for Halloween or All Saint's Day) when the leaves have fallen and the hillside and headstones are visible.

I am familiar with the Beulah Cemetary. I have been up there many times - to watch stars, to hunt for catterpillers, blackberry bushes grew on the hillside just past the cemetary. My Eagle scout project was to brush out part of the cemetary (before the gate) that included a number of civil war dead.
My great-great grandparents Carl are buried in a lower section below the cemetary and these are the oldest cemetary plots in the area.

It's a gorgeous place. I made a mini-journey back there today. I'm planning probably two more within the next week. Many visits of that nature coming up...
