My Day With Jules
Edeburn--This was the first of our stops. Juli was attacked by a tree and she showed me the grave that attacked her sister on their last visit.
Halton--We couldn't remember exactly where this one was located--miraculously, Juli spotted it from across the river while SHE was driving. How she spotted it, I will still never know... Crazy. Totally crazy. This cemetery is interesting because it is primarily children--there are three adults in the entire cemetery--all of the rest are young children. Even though the graves are from the early 1900s, several had gifts of children's toys on them.
Munderf--This one is home to Ben's site.
Richardsville--The most interesting part of this cemetery was a tree that had grown around an old iron fence becoming an interesting hybrid of metal and living organism (another of Juli's odd discoveries). Perhaps it is a magical doorway to some unknown land... Also, the Baptist Section of the cemetery.
Beechwoods--This cemetery was my main inspiration for celebrating Dia de los Muertos.
The random photos along the way.
