Snowy Nights
It's nights like these that I miss Krishna the most. When the snow falls rapidly and everyone else is tucked away inside...
Heavy snowfalls, in the early morning, meant that we had the streets and the fresh, clean snow all to ourselves. Somehow, taking Krishna for a walk always turned into hours of snow play on these nights.
She loved lying down in the snow and having me cover her completely--she would then barrel out, just to do it all over again.
This may very well be the last snowstorm of the year. The days are getting longer now. The bright, early sun and the sound of birds singing means that my favorite time of year is coming to an end soon.
I hope that they have taken the time to play in the snow with her. There is really nothing quite like it.
I miss it more than words can express...
